The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

It is an area where there is plenty and beautiful natural resources which only needs to be touched by the human house. There is the immense scope of harvesting the nature rentable renounces in formof mater energy for generation electricity, beside that there is the public and civilizes of pasighat who would like to and give their fullest support for developing pasighat as a smart city.

*I propose the idea of training these people in some form of traditional and cultural art and giving them areas where they can perform or work for a living.

HEALTHY, HAPPY, HARMONY, HISTORIC, HOLY, HOSPITALITY & HOMELY Should be the VISION document to realise the SMART CITY PASIGHT PROJECT MISSION Healthy Pasighat requires CLEAN AND GREEN with proper road and drainage system and organic farming for sustainable development and sporting activities such as MISSION FOOTBALL Field, Pasighat a CYCLING destination of the world Pasight should not be a concrete jungle rather ENVIORNMENT must be protected, CLEAN SAING, SIBO KRONG, PANE KRONG

**Solid waste management should be dealt by a separate agency, Citizen of Smart city expected to show self discipline by not littering public place and use dust bins, garbage from dust bins should be cleaned regularly.

There should be clean toilets nearby all bus stops, dustbins in every 100 mt, environment friendly vehicles, diesel vehicles should b banned, long route buses should b challenged, people should b educated towards cleanliness and the shopkeepers who have temporary shops near roadside should b challenged in case cleanliness is not there.

Transportation facility such as rail, bus and air bus services should be provided. Concept of smart city can be realized only when there are smooth roads, proper lightning, good infrastructure.
