The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

1) We should keep our city clean. 2) We should get proper electricity, water, transportation 3) And good facility for public like park, swimming pool and colleges like AIIMS 4) We should get a good library, sport places 5) We need drain in every colony 6) And we need good sai school talented does who can show their school.

"if we wants to make Pasighat a Smart city then we have to do these things:- 1. Smart Parking 2. Intelligent Traffic Management 3. Integrated Multi modal Transport (including Roadway etc.) 4. CCTV monitoring of traffic 5. Shared vehicle management system 7. Smart Heavy Vehicle movement Management"

Pasighat being a lone city eligible for the smart city criteria have already managed to bag the smart city scheme. however, the central govt need to know that this smart city scheme is the one and only way to develop the centurial old town pasighat.

my suggestion are as follows:- 1.smart market 2.smart building 3.smart energy 4.smart hydro power 5. ATM should be divided sector wise.

With the mighty siang by the side, there should be no dart of electricity and water. But thing is not going in favour of it. Hydro-power can be developed over Siang River. Water can be tapped from both siang and its tributaries but people are facing hardship because of the two things. What is it?

Proper separation of residential areas with industrial and commercial areas. Quality of road construction should be ensured by putting stringent conditions in tenders like maintenance of roads for a minimum period of five years.

1)Well connected to road to every corner of place. 2)Security to girls There should be need electricity in the town. 3) kids, homes etc. 4)Good facilities of electricity, hospital, market, shopping halls.

Presently, electricity & water supply is the main problem Pasighat, so I would suggest that on the priority these sectors should be made 24x7. Only then, pasighat can think for other development. Without these amenities, it is not possible for anyone to go hi-tech.

5) Sanitation and surrounding should be always clean. 6) Modern infrastructure and green building should be promoted. 7) Education through tele- education should be promoted and inspire to get opportunity for the poor people.
