Tiruchirappalli City Municipal Corporation has been ranked first among 12 cities selected for implementing Smart City project in Tamil Nadu and is gaining momentum to get shortlisted in the final round of Smart City Challenge where 20 cities would be selected in the first year.

The vibrant citizens of Tiruchirappalli are requested to post their views pertaining to municipal and city’s basic infrastructure such as water supply, electricity, sanitation, waste management, transport, parking, energy,housing, IT solutions,safety and security. Residents are encouraged to give their ideas and suggestions at city level as well as local area level solutionsin Tiruchirappalli.

Let us join hands together in making Tiruchirappalli a global Smart City!

A mobile app that enables public to report commonly damages/breakdown to public infrastructure such as roads, electric and water supply. They can report frequently occurring problems like faulty streetlight/traffic-light, blocked drainage or flooding, cleanliness issues (dead/injured animal, stagnant water body or overflowing litter bin etc). The reports should be automatically forwarded to corresponding authorities. The user's profile should be linked to mobile number to prevent spamming.

1.Need to provide more security for women and kids.Police Patrolling during night accomapnied with one women officer. 2.Ensuring job opportunities for all people according to their education level. 3.Developing more companies in and around trichy like metro cities. 4.Monitoring the ongoing projects of flat promoters and ensuring the safety of the buildings. 5.creating more parks and libraries within city limit and need to regulate the traffic especially in densley populated areas.
