Tiruchirappalli City Municipal Corporation has been ranked first among 12 cities selected for implementing Smart City project in Tamil Nadu and is gaining momentum to get shortlisted in the final round of Smart City Challenge where 20 cities would be selected in the first year.

The vibrant citizens of Tiruchirappalli are requested to post their views pertaining to municipal and city’s basic infrastructure such as water supply, electricity, sanitation, waste management, transport, parking, energy,housing, IT solutions,safety and security. Residents are encouraged to give their ideas and suggestions at city level as well as local area level solutionsin Tiruchirappalli.

Let us join hands together in making Tiruchirappalli a global Smart City!

1. Job opportunities like IT, manufacturing units should be developed 2. Cleanliness - Each street should have a dustbin which should be maintained regularly 3. Bus Stand should be located nearby bypass road rather than inside the city 4. Underground drainage should be implemented 5. Roads should be widened and traffics should be regulated correctly 6. Trees should be planted along both sides of the roads

1.To give 24/7 power supply. 2.Encourage use public transport. 3.proper sewage facility. 4.prohibition the usage of plastic bags. 5.atleast one tree in one home. 6.proper drinking water to houses. 7.24/7 internet facility even in village areas. 8.E-goverance. 9.provide job facility atleast for graduates.

1. To pass legislation against people who are spitting,smoking,urinating in public places like bus stop and central bus stand. 2. Restrict the panparak,kutka on road side shops and tea shops. This avoid the spitting issue a lot. 3. Make more buses available for trichy to chennai on weekends. Please make my city more beautiful..I love my trichy.

I would like to arrange public toilets all around the city at free of cost. not only in the smart city's but also all over india to avoid used public places are open toilets, in our india this happend all over india you may heared before.,

2 - We Nee Proper Road. Not Simply a plastic road or Cement Road. If 30 Feet is allocated in an Area for Road, we need planned drainage, and Trees in both of the sides. 3 - Most of the Day in an year will be very hot, But there is no plan for Solar Power ,Even than Plans comes , its coming from the private sector or multinational company, single person can do that mean why can;t our Govt do?

1- Making Smartcity is not only Improving the Infrastructure of the City . Its Providing the Good Administration and Corruption Free Govt Services. Even the Govt is bringing all facilities, corruption will spoil all of them. currently without bribe there is nothing possible in the Govt offices, Before Infrastructure We need corruption Free services and Little Respect From Govt Employees.

1.Underground drainage to be implemented to all areas. 2.Toilet facilities for all individual houses. 3.Collection of garbage disposal from individual house & a common disposal area to be developed. waste disposal to be categorized. 4.Encourage the use of bio-degradable bags and impose strict ban on the use of plastic bags in all areas. 5.Ensure clean drinking water facilities for all houses. 6.Widen the existing roads as much as possible. 7.Plant more trees and develop more parks.

போக்குவரத்தை முறைபடுத்த வேண்டும். 24 மணி நேர தடையற்ற மின்சாரம், குடிநீர் அளிக்க வேண்டும். 20 லட்சம் மரங்களை வளர்த்து திருச்சியை தமிழகத்தின் பசுமைத் தலைநகரமாக்க வேண்டும். பொது இடங்களில் பார்க்கிங் வசதி செய்து தர வேண்டும் காந்தி மார்க்கெட், சென்ட்ரல் பஸ் நிலையம் ,மெயின்கார்டுகேட் உட்பட நகரிலுள்ள சாலையோர வியாபாரிகளை ஒழுங்குபடுத்தி, அவர்களுக்கென தனிச் சந்தையை உருவாக்கித் தர வேண்டும். நாய்கள், மாடுகள், பன்றிகள் நடமாட்டத்தை அனைத்து தெருக்களிலும் முற்றிலுமாக கட்டுப்படுத்த வேண்டும்.
