Located about 300 kilometres south of Chennai and 379 kilometres north of Kanyakumari, Tiruchirappalli sits almost at the geographic centre of the state. Majority of IT activity in India is concentrated in Bangalore which is hardly 350 Kms from Trichy. Also,Trichy is geographically out-of-reach from India's rivals Pakistan and China. Getting manpower is also very easy as this place is located between Kerala, Andra and Karnataka. The Tidel park in Trichy is also located very near to Airport.

Focus on converting waste into cash as the city has jobless persons, lot of solid and liquid waste/ garbage & sewage. Segregate waste to produce eco friendly bio gas & bio fuel for buses, road construction using waste, manure for organic farming, waste to produce power , as fuel in cement plants. Every house to develop kitchen garden to get fresh vegetable using house hold waste. Develop drainage & rain water harvesting structures in higher terrain of the city to increase the water level.

#SmartCity #Tiruchirappalli Roads within Trichy and with other cities like Namakkal, Karur and Pudhukottai should be improved compare to the present state. Trichy will require 1 Or 2 more bus terminals which may be used to connect with all the neighbour cities. Also it will reduce the traffic in future.
