Tiruchirappalli City Municipal Corporation has been ranked first among 12 cities selected for implementing Smart City project in Tamil Nadu and is gaining momentum to get shortlisted in the final round of Smart City Challenge where 20 cities would be selected in the first year.

The vibrant citizens of Tiruchirappalli are requested to post their views pertaining to municipal and city’s basic infrastructure such as water supply, electricity, sanitation, waste management, transport, parking, energy,housing, IT solutions,safety and security. Residents are encouraged to give their ideas and suggestions at city level as well as local area level solutionsin Tiruchirappalli.

Let us join hands together in making Tiruchirappalli a global Smart City!

1.mosquito fogging should be extended to extensions area like kalyana sundaram nagar. 2.instead of relaying existing roads often,roads may be formed in extension areas. 3.unregularised street lights may be regularized quickly so as to enable the repairs and maintenance by the co operation then and there . 4.empty plots should be cleaned and it should be litter zone. 5.city should me made wifi. 6.kk nagar collection center may be provided with a board to which is visible to on passersby.

1.launch a app for current trichy traffic information 2. smart hospitals:appoint doctor with common phone number to get a treatment from information given by patients .send tablet detials through sms. 3.save energy:By automatic Dim the street light in highway , city roads during the less or no traffic time. 5. put proper roads. 6. install solar power plants. 7. display information about groundwater depth,quality full city 8. e-connect all department to public for problem .

1. Waste management(in many areas there is no separate tunnel or anything they are just flowing outside)2.Dustbin should be made available in all areas mainly in railway station and they should be strong and it should be only moved or cleared by corporation workers3. Roads should increased in size as there are many traffic areas and there are small roads and it causes pollution too much4.Toilets should be built in each and every areas and in important temples to improve sanitation

Dear sir, we need to aware the people about cleanliness in modern way amd promote the schemes to every citizen.In technological world, the APP and website must be created.That APP contains the city's historical culture , police stations contact ,hospitality ,transportation (buses around trichy and apart) and latest updates happen around us (gov issues,culture & entertainment) and members on this APP interacting among others and help to visitors for trichy around the globe.

14. Maintain law and order in our city with clean record of police personal. 15. Implement smart card system for civil supply distribution shops. 16. Maintain electricity power around city all the times ( 24 hours ) . 17. Avoiding and implement to stop very old model car in the road 18. Make all the public place with lots of trees and need to looks greenish 19. Support poor student for their higher education by providing financial support by bank, Finally we need to avoid beggars in the road.

8. Providing support to all business peoples 9. Keep and inform every citizen to save our public property 10. Make advertisement periodically to public peoples on health care especially cleanliness. 11. Avoid child labour in the city. 12. Need to eradicate BRIBERY at any level in order to implement all scheme which is directly reached to poor and needy peoples. 13. Make some of tallest building in main area for international trade business. 14. Need to have good drainage system around city.
