Tiruchirappalli City Municipal Corporation has been ranked first among 12 cities selected for implementing Smart City project in Tamil Nadu and is gaining momentum to get shortlisted in the final round of Smart City Challenge where 20 cities would be selected in the first year.

The vibrant citizens of Tiruchirappalli are requested to post their views pertaining to municipal and city’s basic infrastructure such as water supply, electricity, sanitation, waste management, transport, parking, energy,housing, IT solutions,safety and security. Residents are encouraged to give their ideas and suggestions at city level as well as local area level solutionsin Tiruchirappalli.

Let us join hands together in making Tiruchirappalli a global Smart City!

Dear sir, We need to concentrate to have following things in order to get SMART CITY , They are 1. Strong and Solid road 2. Maintain all transport under one roof 3. Maintain cleanliness in every place around city and keep dustbin every main area and to dispose waste everyday 4. Need to have separate area for IT sector 5. Inform every citizen to understand their responsibility on their city like Singapore 6. Promote better education to all 7. Every house must have their own toilet

ration card must change in smart card, and road service in better then now,village countries to early city with train & bus, clean city and water supply lessen more now.

all religions are same in city so take attention for that sir,accident prevention,games permission all schools and colleges,clean city,attend all common function for goverment employees

My idea is to make INDIA clean ,automatically INDIA will be smart.By using this small trick ,government has to introduce electronic Dustbin's to all areas and cities.The idea here is when papers and garbages are thrown to Dustbin's it give some rewards like chocolates, sweets,or rupees.This is the main idea of this Dustbin's .The idea is very silly but it works.Then the people make use the dustbin often nor they throw outside the dustbin....this is my trick towards public....MANOOJ...
