Tiruchirappalli City Municipal Corporation has been ranked first among 12 cities selected for implementing Smart City project in Tamil Nadu and is gaining momentum to get shortlisted in the final round of Smart City Challenge where 20 cities would be selected in the first year.

The vibrant citizens of Tiruchirappalli are requested to post their views pertaining to municipal and city’s basic infrastructure such as water supply, electricity, sanitation, waste management, transport, parking, energy,housing, IT solutions,safety and security. Residents are encouraged to give their ideas and suggestions at city level as well as local area level solutionsin Tiruchirappalli.

Let us join hands together in making Tiruchirappalli a global Smart City!

IT Park has to be well developed and incentives have to be provided high speed broadband has to be provided at affordable prices wifi has to be provided in public places

crawford edamalai patti pudur areas to be connected to sundar nagar as well as to the trichy madurai bye bass bridge this will help thoushands of people living on both side of the highway please consider this proposal which will benefit public in big way in this area it will also help people to reach airport faster

The water people receive at home should be drinkable without needing any extra purification process. I would't call a city "smart" if even as basic need as pure water is not served to its citizen. I am glad this city is selected to become a smart city. :) Excited to see the changes.

Entire city to be renovated underground drainage system,the satellite town have provided also new developmental plan for the extended areas

Public Toilets should be properly maintained in the city especially in Bus stands, Railway station and Rockfort shopping area
