as rightly stated by ms kiran bedi, use existing infrastructure and convert all primary and secondary schools into vocational institutes with PPP methods, after 2 pm. any education which is not leading to assured livelihood must either be discontinued or state subsidies must be withdrawn from it. after costly technical education, there should be minimum 20 year 'work in india' condition.

I feel the current education system needs a revamp. We have to support skill based training rather than just studying books and writing exams and scoring. We are just teaching students to score marks and not gain knowledge
I would like to invite the members of the group to share your views on this point

drawing, with a 4th subject of ethics and values compulsory to all. .....continued in next post

Vocational refers to small work lessons common for all, may be unnecessary for most of the students. We should provide essential education which refers to education which is necessary for all to live in 21st century. for example using debit card for online shopping, Business Emails and English communication, Bank accounts and transactions, Functioning of legislature etc, a survey or exam among college students should be conducted with the above topics to know their necessity in modern world.
