Sir Alva university in mudibidri Karnataka offers diplomas along with degree and it is mandatory. The same approach can be adopted and make it mandatory to students to take up at least one vocation for which exams/ should be practical.

Presently we follow the Victorian Educational system which is suitable for 10 % of our population. Finland's educational system is considered as best in the world today where teachers play very important role and they have equal status of Doctor's. Now in Internet world blended learning system or flipped class is more ideal. All subjects should prepared in MOOC ( Massive Open Online Course ) with best expert available and make sure its available to all students who are interested in Learning

Best of teachers are not prepared well for every class. They lack the time and energy to put in quality inputs.Besides, they have to do everything–plan, research, prepare, make teaching aids, teach ,provide extra support to weak children, assess, correct papers ,maintain records,co-ordinate activites in school. This seriously affects the actual purpose-effective teaching with achievement of learning outcome.A lot of time is wasted in referring to different sources and compiling them.Every school board ha

1. Teachers' salary should be increased.
2. Teachers' selection process should be centralized by UPSC like bodies. This will ensure that the quality of teachers are maintained and are uniform across all states.
3. The syllabus across all state boards and central boards should be made uniform. Now there is a lot quality differences between centralized boards like CBSE and State boards. This leads to differences in various schools as well.

cont.. Higher education and teachers should not be selected on basis of caste or creed or even B.Ed. degrees, but their ability to teach and academic achievements and whether they carry out fundamental research in their subject or not. There should be no age bar for good teachers. Teachers should not be asked to do mundane govt work as that will lead the students not having any respect for teachers which is a must if they are to sincerely be able to receive what is being imparted to them.
