Important to channelize the energy and talent of children in various sports. Every school should have at least one sport in which complete facilities and training are provided to produce quality sportspersons and take them upto at least state level. The sport can be given the status of a subject and in lieu of that, exemption from a regular subject - built up from 6th standard onwards.

Basic vocational courses like Carpentry, Bakery, Electrical, Printing, Dairy, Music, Art etc should be designed uniformly with curriculum and examinations to be conducted both at central and state board levels. Every school (without exceptions) should run at least 2 such courses. Child taking any of these vocational subjects will be eligible to take exemption from one regular subject, and will start building specific skill sets from early age - 6th standard onwards.

For enhancing vocational education, and join education with society, there should be organisation of students(affiliated by government) whose purpose is to meet regularly and discuss- debate and do things practically which are beneficial both for the personal development and also for our nation. These organisations should have their daily meeting for 1 hour every evening which should be supervised by officials. They should have camps and programmes in a periodic way.

Talking about higher education(Engineering in particular) Institutes which DISTRIBUTE degrees just like that should be closed immediately. Institute which don't have labs, libraries shouldn't be spared. Institute where teachers are not competent/capable, shouldn't be allowed to take new students. Quality of students make the quality of nation. Once students are capable, in their 3rd year vacation they should train the less privileged of that locality, you can name it VOCATIONAL TRAINING.

The CCE system, by CBSE, was started with an objective to enhance practical knowledge. But actually, it's results are very wrong. The school curriculum should not be within the timing of 8 hours of school. India is very diverse in every sence. If formal classes are given during morning time, then the vocational classes should be given during evening time, no matter if they are only of 2 or 3 hours. Every fortnight there should be camp by school and students must be assesed by it.(about 60%).

Stress the point that any child after 14 years of age can work in light work positions including in a farm, factory or firm without being hauled for child labour law infringement.

Vocational education can be supported by campus placements by companies in need of such skills. Companies requiring specialised skills can be sought for and the courses can be specially designed which caters to their need. In return, they need to hire the students who take up the tailored courses. It would be a win-win for both students as well as the companies in need of specialised vocations.
