In an endeavour to address the inadequacies of capacity constraints and improve its modal share in total freight eco system of the country, Indian Railways has come up with Draft National Rail Plan.

A draft of long term strategic plan called the National Rail Plan has been developed to plan infrastructural capacity enhancement along with strategies to increase modal share of the Railways. The National Rail Plan will be a common platform for all future infrastructural, business and financial planning of the Railways. This plan is being circulated among various Ministries for their views now. Railways aim to finalise the Final plan by January 2021.

Many trains are running between east coast line but the availability of the reservations are poor. Waltair division is one among them. for example tirupathi - visakhapatnam double dekker train runs in the night , it is not sleepere. the chairs are for kids below 5 years. seat shuld be imporved and it should run as a day train beween rajahmundry or between vijayawada. Also a train started between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam is snatched away and extended upto bhubneswar. such pratices stop.

Railway is very helpful for people this very need Our railway stations are still need to up Grade like huge and large scale fixed roof need on plate those are without roof because in our country have different different climates and people are are traveling from all over direction one place to onther and those people are wating on plate form due to heavily rain , bright sun shine heat stress or even more problems create by climate so passenger wating train with safety and happily .

we are looking very big issue regarding the toilet condition in railway station mainly when ever traveling in one destination to onther destination we getting many station like big and small Station on the railway station plate form there are still toilet but the condition is very poor condition need to maintain to this toilets for people to use it and give them on contract do they can maintain well and small renevew will be genrate for small maintenance purpose and qualified people get Jobs

Railways can effectively contribute to export, doubling of farm income at no additional cost ! Just reducing lac crores of losses , be it in PDS /agriculture/Oil /Cement/Steel Prevent Thefts & add value across. Treat agriculture mandi/FCI warehouses as an industry ! The containers can be be loaded after pre-inspection , certifications , insured & sealed ! Gulf countries & others who have FTA , FSA can have cold storages inside their country built exclusively for India (ref UAE agriculture deal)

Railways freight model . with speed doubling , freight biz should automatically double ! But not happened so far. Who is failing. why such a long time kisan rail can extend for export in seasons . Express Freight . Mandis to straight airports /seaports e.g. lasalgaon to Mumbai Port direct for Onions. All big mandis should have a nearby agro testing , certificate sorting at yards & cargo airport weekly flights/ships .Even govt can export lac crore of wasted /rotting food of FCI godowns
