WHATEVER THE PARTICULAR ADVERTISEMENT IS SHOWING ON TV OR IN NEWSPAPER SHOULD SUBMIT FIRST TO ANY GOVT. ORG. WHICH SHOULD BE SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR IT. IF IT DO NOT COVER ALL THING OR ANY ONE COMPLAINTS AGAINST IT THEN THE GOVT SHOULD TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST IT SOTHAT ANY OTHER CAN'T REPEAT IT AGAIN.

It should be by a people led crowd sourced department supervised by Govt. Officials. There should be a portal or platform comprising of members of respective fields. Eg. a sub-group of doctor volunteers to check authenticity of claim by health products. Similarly a sub-group of Engineer volunteers to scrutinise related technical products. For submission of complaint one should have to report the ad of the product on the web-portal which should be examined by expert and reported to authority

Sirji,
Propose the following 6 measures :
Part 1/6:MAKE PUBLISHING OF EMAIL ID/CONTACT NO. IN ALL ADVT. MANDATORY
In order to curb ‘Misleading advertisements’, first & fore most, it SHALL BE MADE MANDATORY FOR EVERY ADVERTISER SHALL PUBLISH THEIR EMAIL ID / CONTACT NO. IF ANY, IN THE ADVERTISING (be it in newspaper or on TV or for that matter even hoarding/poster etc.as the case may be), so that, anyone having valid complaint with any advt. can lodge a complaint with firm at d given address!

Part 2 / 6 : PUBLISHER & CUSTOMER COMPLAINT CARE ID SHOULD BE DISPLAYED PROMINENTLY IN ALL ADS – TO BE MADE MANDATORY
Like a statutory warning on the cigarette packet, customer care ID on many consumer products, it should also be made a permanent feature on all advts. Along with email id, contact no. should also be prominently displayed.
