Penalties should be very high, so that people will fear to make false promises/misleading advertisements. Where people find that it is a misleading advertisement, they should send SMS to police. Police should send payment notice to advertiser within 30 days of receipt of notice like traffic violation notices are sent to vehicle owner. When there is fear, they will try to reduce making false promises.

Stick posters in city should be banned. e.g. in Bangalore there is law to prevent sticking posters in city and but there is no action plan. All posters will have proof of identity like mob no., name etc. It is easier to find.

For false advertisement individual do not have time and money to in the court against it. There should be independent body, how should scrutinize advertisements for their claim. Such body should have here web site, where people can log there complaints for false advertisements, and this body should carry out the investigation against such ads.

In case of electronic goods supplied by different companies, with the same specifications, prices vary a lot. Eg: mobile phones, television, refrigerator etc. Govt should pass strict rules for even prices to these goods. Govt should give nationwide ads through all media so as to reach all these to the common man.

If the advt. is about job/handwriting/visa/tour package/studies eg. degree in three months etc will be advertised only along with the certificate from concerned authorities. Advertisement like “kuberyanta”\ “dhanagaman mantra” \hair growth\ fairness cream etc. should be controlled /abolished by the government if there is any complaint. Fine and punishment should be given to the channels too.

Then ban fake products for ever with the help of policemen and advertisements about these products were given in nationwide channels. Law should be made accordingly. For a food / medicine advertisement there should be certificate from a food inspector / drug controller about the quality and ingredients. If the certificate issued is fake law should be made in order to punish the food inspector /drug controller as well as the producer.

For controlling these fake advertisements Govt. should take steps to decide warranty to each products according to their use. Govt. should start and maintain a website for the public to give details about the fake products without displaying their name. Then Govt. also countercheck that products with the help of concerned authorities. If the products found fake, punishment along with a huge fine is imposed on the producer. A part of the fine is given to those who point out the fake product.
