strict ethical guidelines must be formulated by govt for print and electronic media advertisement.
Heavy monetary penalty should be imposed in case of violation/misleads.
awards should declare for best ads or CSR related ads.
minisrtries of industries must prepare ranking of quality, pricing etc of products/services for consumer benifit ,awareness ,and for compulsory advertisement component, etc
There should be prizes for public whistle blower, best suggestions, best comment against advertisements.

We as a consumer can reduce the various misleading advertisements just by using our common sense and ignoring those products or services there by compelling those companies to change their marketing or advertising policies

There should be ban on "conditions apply" clause. whatever the company claim in advertizement if fails to provide the service there should be 10 times of penalty need to pay to the consumer suffered.

Hi all!
I believe we have a potential highly educated workforce in housewives. Due to lack of quality day care at work place and inflexibility in timing in corporate sector especially in cities like Kolkata . If a platform is created to absorb the TV watching homemakers who are getting depressed as they have similar aspirations as their husbands, they can be change makers.

there should be heavy penalty on the advertiser if product or service if same failed to meet the claims. there should be advertising regulator who takes public complains, investigate it and make class suite for general compensation.

Govt. Of India have an online portal named pgportal.gov.in for redress the public grievances. I found this portal useless because i lodge a grievance around 7 months ago but till the date no action taken. Kindly make the available system effective instead of start the new system. When a central online monitoring system failed to perform how we expect for the new system will be workable.
