Addressing his fellow Indians from the Red Fort on 15th August 2014 the Prime Minister called for replacing the Planning Commission with another Institution that is in sync with the modern times and most importantly in sync with the aspirations of 21st century India. The Prime Minister also emphasized on the important role the states have to play in taking the nation forward.

This forum invites your innovative ideas on what shape will this proposed institution take in terms of structure, composition and area of functioning. Another area of focus that requires your inputs is how this proposed institution can enhance Centre-State coordination and thus become a true celebration of India’s Federal Structure.

The new institution should be renamed as National Development Commission (NDC) and its motive should be the efficient utilization of available resources, unbiased allocation of funds to States and Central Ministries, workable control mechanism and all inclusive and sustainable development. Instead of Five Year Plans, Short Term and Long Term Plans should be made by NDC. Instead of Civil Servants, subject experts should be made the Think Tank Members of NDC who could provide practical ideas.

we can plan whatever we want but for real development of India we have to conform implementation of plan in due time. So, we need an organization like that. Planning is not enough. IN place of planning commission we must have an organization to shape India(youngster), built India(infrastructure), promote India(India image in world), secure India(in & out border), shine India(pollution free, clean), Integrate India(digitization, tradition). can we name it "PROJECT NEW INDIA".

I opinion that ban on overseas for fresh professionals, and utilise their intellectuals with in our country by providing all provisions for growth of India, only allow green card holders. i.e we should use our resources with in our country. and stop and bring funds from overseas, FDIs too, either hook or crook we have to strive on that and built new developments from our new born intellectuals engineers and doctors. by inviting with their projects then one day we will become next to Japan.

In the middle class families we are always planning many things but accordingly not getting success. Still Planning, Doing & Revising are VIMP Steps of Effective Management either in house or for any establishment. Hence PCI is an IMP Institution & essential for planned & equal development of the Nation. Only thing is that members on the PCI should be more number of field experts & less politicians having knowledge & impartial vision of Industrial, Agricultural & Rural Development.

A institution must be created for monitoring the tasks of the government and all the ministries, like giving suggestions to the not only government but also for the mp's and giving them tasks with respect to their constituencies after a survey of its need and for well being of each voters. Helping and assisting for preparation of future plans and road map of each mp's and government so that every corner of the country is benefited

The main issue that concerns our country is the disparity between center and states. An integrated planning is necessary where center and states .work hand in hand. The world bank lending has been growing in four tiers viz center, states, municipal corporations and village Panchayat. The tax structure at different levels to service the borrowing is eating our economy. A uniform GST and an integrated planning is a must where all constituents work together. .

We can't manage today's development through yesterday's eyes ! , so I think, replace Planning Commission to ... INDIAN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY ( Bhartiya Vikash Pradhikaran) is better option to smoth & transperancy in development programme..... Mukesh Kumar Aanand ( E-mail: imperialinternational604@gmail.com)
