Addressing his fellow Indians from the Red Fort on 15th August 2014 the Prime Minister called for replacing the Planning Commission with another Institution that is in sync with the modern times and most importantly in sync with the aspirations of 21st century India. The Prime Minister also emphasized on the important role the states have to play in taking the nation forward.

This forum invites your innovative ideas on what shape will this proposed institution take in terms of structure, composition and area of functioning. Another area of focus that requires your inputs is how this proposed institution can enhance Centre-State coordination and thus become a true celebration of India’s Federal Structure.

Following the outdated procedure of forming Committee, Commission that was in the British Rule is not fair. A Team consisting of experts & stalwarts in the field of the assigned policy or scheme for which planning should be done, should be replaced.Team members are bound to be replaced others according to the needs.Experts should have experience both national & international. They should also have financial, economical & social intellect. They should not be appointed on influence or pressure.

See the report: "Adobe will shut its Chinese research and development arm". They say the gov.. there is hostile when they tighten information security. That means the US companies want data . Now it is for India to develop its own OS, platforms, applications etc to be in a position to be self reliant if Adobe, microsoft, etc etc decide to withdraw support. Better not to involve any US company or its subsidiary in any of the Government plans to digitalise India. Develop alternatives.

This might sound very immature to some of you. But I suggest government should include young, by young i mean (18-25) professionals who have gained some experience in any particular industry in the decision making process. I strongly believe that this age group is least corrupt and positive generation with technology savy mind.

The papers were reporting that many companies utilised by UIDAI had CIA connections. Snowden declared that CIA was into collecting biometric data from world across. In the circumstances, why is the government going ahead with Aadhar without bringing out a white paper on the issue. Why not the government dismantle UIDAI. Bring a citizen card without participation of foreign linked companies by collecting and storing data in gov servers using government officers. Please stop AAdhar.

The new institution should work hand in glove with this Mygov. Should be open to conviction and criticism. There should be a three tier body. All CMs and Opposition leaders should be a part of one body. Select some of the Mygov participants to have a critical examination of the matters involved and to gather data locally also. Have an executive body at the helm to execute the programme. these are wild thoughts just jotted down. Each department should have a lower level staff committee.

There should be some people who will collect the ideas from the people and forward it to government. There should be a group to write down all the points including criticisms and to bring it to the notice of the institution including the PM, Just because some foreign trained man says something, it should not be accepted. Feedbacks from people also should be considered. MPs and MLAs are bound by the party whip, which sometimes may not reflect the will of the people issue wise.

Regarding land records. Every property has a name, especially in kerala. The names of the properties reflect the cultural background of the area and the property. The land records of British days used to give the names of the property also. Now the new form does not have the col for name. It is with ulterior motive that the same is omitted. Pls see that it is mandatory to include the property name as in old land records/settlement records.

Planning Commission is for growth of India. If we are speaking about Inclusive growth then why can't Government establish a Planning Commission which includes Finance Minister of all 29 states and 2 union Territories ( Delhi NCR & Pudhucherry) as its members. For each and every department in Planning Commission we can follow a cyclic approach in appointing a eminent person/persons in the relevant field and concerned state minister's as its members.

I think there should be a monitoring commision .in which a common man can participate by giving the information about related scheme which is executing or executed .
