Addressing his fellow Indians from the Red Fort on 15th August 2014 the Prime Minister called for replacing the Planning Commission with another Institution that is in sync with the modern times and most importantly in sync with the aspirations of 21st century India. The Prime Minister also emphasized on the important role the states have to play in taking the nation forward.

This forum invites your innovative ideas on what shape will this proposed institution take in terms of structure, composition and area of functioning. Another area of focus that requires your inputs is how this proposed institution can enhance Centre-State coordination and thus become a true celebration of India’s Federal Structure.

Powers of amicus curiae to be curtailed: Normally amicus curiae or friend of court is appointed for expounding law impartially. But now it is extended to such an extent that they act as fact finding missions, whose report is not allowed to be challenged. Amicus make allegations against persons who are denied an opportunity to challenge the report or to cross examine persons who are alleged to have testified before amicus. Law should provide that whenever an amicus travels into fact finding,

now large projects such as big Dams,irrigation projects etc. are not planned &implemented by central government&state government. the new institute should have capacity to build up projects directly in states o discussion with states.

As a common citizen we have never felt existence of such institution, in fact we thought it is used to satisfy those politicians who lost in election by appointing them as chair. The new institution should play a role of coordinator between Center and States. It should empowered to play a arbitrator role in any disputes between states.

EXECUTION TEAM.I think instead of planning commission, new institution must focus on execution of available and forthcoming govt plans and also it must see proposed plan must be executed within alloted time.PLEASE SIR, DONT NAME NEW INSTITUTION 'something COMMISSION'!!! The word 'COMMISSION' depresses common people...

From past many decades Indian people wants change of Govt at every alternate election. Every alternate election of Tamilnadu they want to see DMK & AIADMK, in UP - SP & BSP, in Centre CONGRESS & BJP and many more. But now All Indians gave preference to the Confidence of Hon MODI Ji. So I feel that this time need of Planning Commission is not there because PLANNING WORD IS SYNONYMOUS TO MODI GOVT. So PCI is not required this time but MODI Ji should get success in giving work to all the hands.

Privatisation of Governmental function will have a serious detrimental effect on national security. Foreign governments, foreign intelligence agencies, and even terrorist outfits may fund and establish companies to digitalise or handle governmental functions with ulterior motives. There will be no use thinking over it after the happening of that inevitable. This APPLIES TO COLLECTION OF DATA BY UIDAI.That is why UIDAI and AADHAR SHOULD BE SCRAPPED.

I am not able to suggest a substitute system for planning commission, but the new entity should be capable of addressing social issues very seriously.For example the legalized flesh trade should be stopped and our sisters involved in the business should be rehabilitated with better employment opportunities and accomodated by the government until they come out of the stigma.

We can teach China a good lesson, but stopping imports from the,.Most Chinese items are useless, sold on footpaths, and signals, we are wasting good foreign exchange.instead stop imports from china, and hit them where it hurts them themost, and then encourage local industires to make the same toys and other items, and reduce taxes fr these new industires.See how economy blooms. Stop countries who are anti india to come and invest here, tell them to go take a walk

Well I m leaving this website because I didn't get response for my inputs.my question is on working of civil aviation they are developing New airports connecting small cities I m not saying it's not good it's good but first you have to save airlines you destroying by not changing pathetic policies of previous govt. First you should correct what's wrong in already running airports and airlines then go for development of New. Reduce airport charges by 90% for domestic airlines. Tax free fuel.
