Addressing his fellow Indians from the Red Fort on 15th August 2014 the Prime Minister called for replacing the Planning Commission with another Institution that is in sync with the modern times and most importantly in sync with the aspirations of 21st century India. The Prime Minister also emphasized on the important role the states have to play in taking the nation forward.

This forum invites your innovative ideas on what shape will this proposed institution take in terms of structure, composition and area of functioning. Another area of focus that requires your inputs is how this proposed institution can enhance Centre-State coordination and thus become a true celebration of India’s Federal Structure.

planning commission must have inspecting power, monitoring power, review power at any stage to change it to get desired result, fully autonomous body, It may book the culprits who has intentionally created barrier to got the desired as planning commission thought so

PM Modiji's idea to replace Planning Commission with a new structure is highly appreciable. its a wonder how can he create such high visions with such a humble family and education background.

आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री जी प्रणाम योजना आयोग के स्‍थान पर Ministry of Planing & Implementation के नाम से नया विभाग बने जो कि योजना का निर्माण के बाद उसके अनुपालन करोन के लिए जवाबदेह बने। साथ ही केन्‍द्र सरकार के एक-एक प्रतिनिधि प्रत्‍येक जिले स्‍तर तक नियुक्‍त हो जो कि इस मंत्रालय के अधीन में काम करें।

“PROJECT VIKAS“-Proposed by me earlier shall have following:Core Committee of ~10 members with each individual looking after 5 main areas of their knowledge & in turn leading 10 sub members to execute tasks & implement at grassroot level with help of respective ministries. Policies to be formulated keeping in mind need of society,economy,industry,healthcare,environment,preservation of Indian Culture,resource management & justice to all Indians.Debate on Articles 246 -263 by core VIKAS committee.

SIR ,YOUR SPEACH ON THE OCCASION OF TEACHERS DAY IS VERY ENERGY GIVING.BUT MY QUESTION TO YOU IS THAT WHY THERE IS DIFFERENT PAY SCALES FOR L.P. AND U.P. TEACHERS WORKING IN DIFFERENT STATES UNDER SSA . ARE YOU ABLE TO MAKE IT UNIFORM PAY FOR US.SIR , THIS IS EK BHARAT. PLEASE MAKE SAME PAY SCALE FOR SAME POST THROUGH OUT INDIA WORKING UNDER SSA AS A TEACHERS.

Let's follow bottom up approach. Let's form scholars a group in each area represent the town/taluk/village. Make them a report of the required items to improve that area and give it to local rep like MLA. Measure the progress of the works by That representative periodically. Let them setup and arrange townhall meeting to publish his progress report. This give an oportunity for public to know what is happening for the funds given to statesman. Use this info to build the nation.

Our late CMD of ONGC, Shri Subir Raha used to tell that we dont need planning commission but we need Doing commission. A right move Sir.

India does not have Oil but we have been gifted other natural resources Iron Ore. More reserves of iron ore shoud be identified. I agree instead of exporting the ore we should develop the Industries which forward integrate to build more jobs. Also mining of Uranium and other such material should be done in states which would like to allow this. It will reduce dependence on other countries and excess material can be sold to friendly countries. It will also help in building the image of India.

As i am a meditator, i would like to suggest that the main function of the planning commission is to make planning for future.so if it has to be replaced then some VISIONARY PEOPLE must be included..they can see the future.and whatever they will think, that will be ultimately good for the future of india.
