Addressing his fellow Indians from the Red Fort on 15th August 2014 the Prime Minister called for replacing the Planning Commission with another Institution that is in sync with the modern times and most importantly in sync with the aspirations of 21st century India. The Prime Minister also emphasized on the important role the states have to play in taking the nation forward.

This forum invites your innovative ideas on what shape will this proposed institution take in terms of structure, composition and area of functioning. Another area of focus that requires your inputs is how this proposed institution can enhance Centre-State coordination and thus become a true celebration of India’s Federal Structure.

New institution must have participation from states. Before any decision, how it can be implemented in states should be discussed and agreed with state owners. This will improve implementation efficiency. A single scheme may be need to implement in different ways in different stats. So a single member from state gov who will be responsible for implementing /coordinating center scheme in state must be included in new Institution.

separate planning commission for legal, home, finance & commerce, defence (internal defence), power, agriculture etc to be constituted. Only experts to be in this committees. Their job is to set up systems for upgradation & improvement with less paper work, minimum people. need of hour is to arouse commitment or patriotism to our country who r willing to give up their comforts for country. We have people who only like to take but not to give. this mindset to be instilled while they r in school

LATEST WEF REPORT 2014 IS AN EYE OPENER , GIVES A THOROUGH INSIGHT FOR THE GOVT. TO TAKE REQUIRED ACTIONS SO AS TO COME IN TOP 50 RANKS OF THE WORLD IN NEXT 10 YEARS.

sir there should be PPSI(proposed plan shortcoming index) ..or any other index which will give some figure to all ministries on what they have achieved in terms of allocated work and allocated money.there after proper action should be taken by this new commision..in short there should be a feedback mechanism

about 50 Cr women in india can not work as they have a home to run but if given proper channel they can give a massive growth to the country. Only limitation is that they can not work 8 hrs daily maybe 10-14 hr weekly & we can have a new indian market of hand/home produced goods for exports & local consumption.

योजना आयोग की जगह एक ऐसे आयोग का गठन होना चाहिए जिसमें प्रशासनिक एवं जन भागीदारी (civil siciety) का समुचित समयोजन होना चाहिए। ताकि जो भी योजनाएं बने वह तकनीकी रूप से सशक्त हो तथा आम जनता एवं देश के हित में हों।।।।।
