Addressing his fellow Indians from the Red Fort on 15th August 2014 the Prime Minister called for replacing the Planning Commission with another Institution that is in sync with the modern times and most importantly in sync with the aspirations of 21st century India. The Prime Minister also emphasized on the important role the states have to play in taking the nation forward.

This forum invites your innovative ideas on what shape will this proposed institution take in terms of structure, composition and area of functioning. Another area of focus that requires your inputs is how this proposed institution can enhance Centre-State coordination and thus become a true celebration of India’s Federal Structure.

Every school should have responsibility to give skill to every child as he/she deserves. And this should be the accountability with the actual performance not for paper filling statements. The strong system should be there to check the accountability.

A Federal Coordination committee could be set-up for coordination between Center-State and State-State. There can be 2 tier team one dedicated to each state which will identify requirements of the state and then another tier which will be at Center, these teams should comprise of people from different field such as Economics, Geography, History, management, Infrastructure at both tiers. It will help us in identifying and optimum utilization of resources/potential available in different states.

There should be planning groups at micro level just like "mohalla sabha". New institution should monitor if these mohalla sbhas are being organized properly or not. Let the people plan for them. Let them decide and be the part of system.
