While serving employees get higher home take salary after savings U/S 80 (C) of IT Act etc, retired pensioners/ Sr Citizens have little scope to make savings for tax benefits. As such Govt must consider raising exemption limit from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 6 lakh. Govt. should not expect much from Sr. Citizen unless one is engaged in some business. It is very reasonable to consider raising this limit.

#Budget 2017 (Set Five)..contd.. 1. Creation of All India Services - Agriculture & Rural Sector (as specialists) is a must. Also creation of All India Judicial Service is desirable for enhancing the quality of HR. Same may please be considered. 2. Acute shortage of manpower in Defence / civil administration departments, calls for fast paced recruitments for a few years. Special funds for the purpose may be kept Best regards, Rajkaran Singh Bhatti Chandigarh 9780005656

#Budget 2017 (Set Four) 1. For diversification of agriculture and enhancement of green cover, agro-forestry offers good solutions. States (Haryana) have successfully developed models of community forestry. To motivate more farmers for adopting agro-forestry, a fund may be created / CSR utilised, for providing new plants & annual performance based incentives. Existing farmers be provided incentives derived from carbon credits. Best regards, Rajkaran Singh Bhatti Chandigarh 9780005656
