In Budget 2017, "Government planning national social security system for poor, unemployed". On the face of it is another wasteful expenditure of tax payers money. There are various examples of misuse of such schemes. The govt. should instead provide them resources to create self employment especially to farming labour. Giving free money will only increase number of drunkards (Mulayam govt in UP is an example). Don't do foolish things just for vote bank sake. Job for them will work better.

Namoji Even after 59 years of Indenpendence, the villages and towns in INDIA has drinking water problem. Why don't we take up big movement swatchha Paani abhiyan to make drinking water available to every Indian. Give tax benefits 100% whoever invests or setup free RO Plants for villagers. Lot of NRIs are eager to help for this scheme, they don't know whom to trust and make donations for this noble cause. I volunteer myself for this. Please start.

Respected Sir, I retired from a PSU of Central Govt. As you are aware, we are getting a meagre pension under EPF and this pension is fixed as we receive the same amount throughout our life. Our savings have been eroded by inflation. As and when there is increase in DA, the pensioners of Central/State Govt. gets enhancement. So my suggestion is that the benefit of DA/inflation increase may also be extended to the EPF Pensioners so that they can get some meagre relief from the Govt.

Propose to provide facilities to Tax payers based on amount of tax paid. Example 1) Provide discount for highway based on tax paid (5%, 10% so on for 2L, 5L tax paid limits). Linking PAN with vehicle registration can be used for effective implementation Example 2) Have dedicated officers in government offices for tax paying people. Or atleast provide single window green channel system for tax payers Only providing such facilities to tax payers will encourage people to pay taxes.

 Pay reasonable salaries to all government employees/servants and put in process to fine 100 times if anybody found guilty and also take them out from the service with immediate effect and also stop all benefits from the day one. Let them work like all other corporate companies.

Rather than spending huge amount of money on various schemes, this time, spend 5% money on Digitization. Make it mandatory for States to post expenses accounting online on a single portal for a scheme e.g. Mid Day Meal to show the Education Cess Account is being spent responbly. Make States post granular details online not just PDF's with empty tables. This will create jobs due to Digitization, & habituate states to post info online for scrutiny. Make NIC a tool for transparency and job creation

 Bullet proof jackets to all boarder security force without fail instead of spending crores for indoor spots (reduce to few thousands, wherein present spend in crores).  Propose free education (most of the school charges between 50,000 to 2,00,000) government policy allows 2400 PA which is nothing.  Clean & widen infrastructure.  Solar energy subsidy to avoid Power shortage  Solar/Battery driven Vehicles subsidy to avoid fuel consumption/dependency form other country.
