To encourage JAN BHAGIDARI and to make the procedure of budget formation transparent, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2017-18. As you may recall, this has been a regular feature on MyGov for the last two years.

Citizen from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of the budget making process. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

Last year we had an overwhelming response with over 40,000+ suggestions for Union/ Railway budget. Several of the suggestions received on MyGov were incorporated in the last year’s budget. To know more about these, click here.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th January, 2017.

railway must connect all state capitals to other state capitals via fast trains like rajdhani and duranto all these dedicated to capital connectivity that can provide some good returns on existing infrastructure.specially in nights...#indianrailways

some suggestions:from 1 lakh to 5 lak income govt should only impose 1% income tax to ensure maximum compliance from 5-10 only 15% tax and 10-50 20% and above 50 lakh should at 25%. for farmers : every mandi of tehsil and any other bazaar ..develop them like SEZ's.. to facilitate them employee one person at there for their own village(each village has a bright student of 12th passed ...train them for 3 months and give a job at home).

its better if we remove income tax and charge on all banks transaction etc. Since there is fear for hiring professionals CAs etc. and running after I.T. departments. Minimum charges will help more people to come under umbrella of income tax charged from transactions.

Sir, Following suggestion aimed at Oil/Gas ministry, to increase non-farming income. Small scale biogas plants for small marginal farmers with 4 or more cattle head. With the provision of gas cylinders to villagers, National Oil companies along with banks should provide assistance to farmers to set up individual bio-gas plants (2-4 cum capacity) for generation of biogas/fertilizer from dung. Technical assistance to run the plants through the gas distribution system network, ensuring an income.

Sir, Following suggestion aimed at Power Ministry, to increase non farming income. 'Nayi Urja' Distributed power generation using roof top solar installations. All small farmers should be provided the opportunity (loans, tech assis. etc) to install 3-5Kw Solar PV systems on their houses with net metering. Discoms be obligated to buy it from them. From consumers of electricity they will become suppliers and provide farmers with non-farming income throughout for 25 years. Details available.

Please include ARRAH CITY in the SMART CITY Campaign... Otherwise we will face disaster from rapid and ill-planned urbanization... It is the BIRTH PLACE of BABU VEER KUNWAR SINGH who fought in crucial 1857 REVOLT... #Budget2017

Kindly do the needful for the stoppage of all express trains at THIRUVERUMBUR (TRB) major railway station on the main line and for the benefit of large number of office goers, industrial workers BHEL employees & ancillary units,students of schools and colleges, Considering the importance and benefits of the public and more over to avoid crowd and Unnecessary travel from Thiruverumbur to Trichy Junction by kids, women and elders with luggage.

Rather than introducing new notes we can introduce actually reintroduce the paisa system which would even make the most precise transactions the most accurate ones

ARA-SASARAM single railway line ko double line kia jaye aur maal gaadi chalai jaye jisse yha k sabji vyapar aur anya vyapar ko badhawa mile... Aur kam se kam koi ek express gadi ko is route pe chalaya jai jo delhi tak jaati ho... Yha population bhi kafi adhik hai...railway ko revenue ki kami.nhi hogi... Yha k log ko ara ya sasaram railway station se train pakdna padta hai Delhi ane k lie... Ek express train s route pe aa jaye to kafi tarakki is ilake ki... #Budget2017
