To encourage JAN BHAGIDARI and to make the procedure of budget formation transparent, the Union Ministry of Finance has decided to invite suggestions for Union Budget 2017-18. As you may recall, this has been a regular feature on MyGov for the last two years.

Citizen from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of the budget making process. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

Last year we had an overwhelming response with over 40,000+ suggestions for Union/ Railway budget. Several of the suggestions received on MyGov were incorporated in the last year’s budget. To know more about these, click here.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th January, 2017.

Dear Sir, Please make provision for Farmers for Own Godown for keeping their new crops when the rates of new crops are falls down because at that time the rates are falling down due to more quantity in market, and he dosen't want to sell this crop at chip price.But he has no option for store that crops. As he is in the burden of various Loan.i.e. Bank Loan,Anulal credits taken as in the form of UDHAR or for any other functions proposed on the base of crop earnings If Gov gives guarnty he...

Delhi AIIMS gate no. 2 aur National Medical Library k beech me kai aise vishal jagah hai jhan aam log khulle me toilet krte hai... Please make SWACHH ABHIYAN TASK FORCE to educate as well punish those citizens... Kam se kam capital city ko to ODF aur OPEN URINATION FREE bnaye aur isko as a role model pure desh me implement kia jaa sake #Budget2017a

Dear Sir, ajadi ke 70 saal ke baad bhi hamare yaha chirmiri ,manendragarh main 1 bhi train asi nahi hai jo hamare sahar se hamari rajdhani raipur se hame seedhe jod sake .this 10 km railway line project (from nagpur road to chirmiri via saja pahar) has removed all the train problems from our area .kindly add this on this budget .

HONORABLE FINANCE MINISTER, 1] TO INCREASE TERM INSURANCE, PLEASE ALLOW 100% DEDUCTION OF PREMIUM AMOUNT FROM GROSS SALARY. 2] TO PROMOTE POPULATION CONTROL AS WELL AS GIRL CHILD EDUCATION, PLEASE ALLOW 100 % DEDUCTION OF TUTION FEE FOR 1st GIRL CHILD AND 50 % DEDUCTION FOR 1st MALE CHILD TILL CLASS XII FROM THE GROSS SALARY. Dear Sir, Kindly Approved a 10 KM. railway project of Nagpur Road (NPRD) to Chirmiri (CHRM) Via SAJA Phar... this is most awaited project till 40 years old & approx 5 lac people are connected with this route directly & indirectly .... many times several govt. agencies are sarvy that and approv but .... Thank You For giving this Beautiful platform for all .... We Bleesed for u & all

In 2017 budget govt employees up to 1M annual earning should be exmpeted from Submission of IT return because TDS is already being deducted from salary.There is no any revenue gain by submission of IT return by govt staff.A lot of energy of IT deptt is being used for scutining of these IT returns.a lot of paper work is being done by govt. staff and IT staff in this regard. Tax stracture should be simplyfy and tax slab to reduced to put more and more citizen under tax umbrela.So they pay tax h

Honorable PRIME MINISTER & FINANANCE MINISTER & TEAM, > INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT IS THE KEY TO GROWTH. PLEASE INCREASE THE LAST DATE OF INVESTMENT FROM WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF SALE, TO 3 YEARS SO AS TO CLAIM INCOME TAX EXEMPTION FOR LONG TERM CAPITAL GAINS UNDER SECTION 54, IF THE AMOUNT IS INVESTED IN NHAI OR REC BONDS FOR 3 YEARS FROM THE DATE OF INVESTMENT. IN CASE LIMIT IS ALSO INCREASED FROM 50 LACS to 200 LACS, IT MAY BE MORE BENEFICIAL IN GROWTH OF INFRASTRUCTRE.
