We bring to you this wonderful news that our city-Pasighat has been selected under 23 fast track cities by Govt. of India and we need to submit the revised plan by 15th April 2016. As we know that we worked very hard in our previous attempt however unfortunately we missed coming in the first 20 list of cities and finished at 39th rank - missing by just 3 points. Let us take this as a positive feedback that we were very close to winning it and were far ahead of many other big cities.

Looking ahead, we need to work on the gaps identified by Govt. of India to revamp the proposal. One of the key weaknesses identified is SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threat) analysis. Here, specifically, Weakness and Threat needs to be more elaborate. We have uploaded a discussion page on mygov portal about this aspect of proposal and need support of people of Pasighat to come up in big numbers and contribute towards this discussion. Let’s brace up for this challenge and work with renewed and reinvigorated spirit in the direction of making Pasighat a smart city.

in the vicinity of Pasighat, people are always searching skilled labour/person like plumber, mason, fitter attorney, professor, teachers, builders, architecture, professor, physicians etc in their daily life. The information including contact no. Service charge etc. Should be available.

Today E-Waste is also a great threat. The environmental effects can be horrific. Most electronic waste goes through a recycling system called a WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), which recycles 95-98% of E-Waste. Bio-Toilets may be provided where toilets constructed in slum areas cannot be connected to drain lines. Rating may be done for all wards of Pasighat every year to promote competition among them on green and clean.

There are several other issues like creation of market places in localities which has to taken into consideration while projecting Pan city proposal. Otherwise problems of traffic and use of personal means of transport will be difficult to be minimise.

Pasighat should maintain dustbins in all bus stop/bus stands & in front of all stores/hotels. Need to be keep strict on waste handling. Everyone should handover waste by dividing. (Dry waste n wet waste).

Pasighat geographically has hills and valleys, the present trend of construction in the hillside finds to be risk in due course, so there must be a technical analysis to study pro and cons and proper solutions to the public to avoid any major land slide in future.

The essence of e-governance is to reach the beneficiary and ensure that the services intended to reach the desired individual has been met with. There should be an auto-response to support the essence of e-governance, whereby the Government realizes the efficacy of its governance. E-governance is by the governed, for the governed and of the governed.

There is no proper electricity facility in pasighat which is a major problem for the student of pasighat because they can’t study at the evening or high time, they can only hope for the day time. There should be solid aware of throwing the waste and garbage in the drains or river
