The focus on the supply side of the equation is probably the reason that the demand for labour has been treated inadequately in most manpower planning activities to date. However, there is increasing recognition of the need for a skilled workforce as a basis for future development and manpower planning is becoming once again a hot issue for developing countries.

Manpower planning, on the other hand, is largely concerned with labour supply. Thus it is interested in such questions as how many people are coming onto the labour market, what are their education and training levels, what is their age etc. It is largely concerned in determining what training needs there are so that the labour supply can be shaped to meet the demands of the economy.

Also area chosen for redevelopment in the city is very appropriate as it mostly comprises of old buildings and other structures. Several buildings in eh area appear to be unfit for dwelling.

the police can embrace e-governance as well. To make the police more accessible to the public, an active Facebook or Twitter page must be set up where by merely posting on their pages or tagging them in photos, their attention can be sought and proper investigation be done. Such pages must be interactive, informing the public of their rights and duties.

Door to door survey and data collection regarding e-governance is very commendable in their survey.

e-governance is an important aspect that Pasighat needs to focus on as well. The official website of Pasighat is not up-to-date with a lot of grammatical and spelling mistakes and is in urgent need of up-gradation.

The website must be user-friendly, more attractive, have facilities for online registration of ILP, have the contact details of hotels for accommodation, and provide more details on packages and a forum for online discussion and suggestions.
