We bring to you this wonderful news that our city-Pasighat has been selected under 23 fast track cities by Govt. of India and we need to submit the revised plan by 15th April 2016. As we know that we worked very hard in our previous attempt however unfortunately we missed coming in the first 20 list of cities and finished at 39th rank - missing by just 3 points. Let us take this as a positive feedback that we were very close to winning it and were far ahead of many other big cities.

Looking ahead, we need to work on the gaps identified by Govt. of India to revamp the proposal. One of the key weaknesses identified is SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threat) analysis. Here, specifically, Weakness and Threat needs to be more elaborate. We have uploaded a discussion page on mygov portal about this aspect of proposal and need support of people of Pasighat to come up in big numbers and contribute towards this discussion. Let’s brace up for this challenge and work with renewed and reinvigorated spirit in the direction of making Pasighat a smart city.

Fishing & Angling in pasighat; Besides, a lot of places like Yingkiong, Bodak, Siom, etc., provide good spots for Fishing and Angling. The Mahseer is legendary and catches of 20-30 kg are not uncommon. The colder waters of the higher reaches have the golden and the rainbow trout. One can have a sight of traditional but effective methods of fishing while trekking in the jungles.

Pasighat are very skilled persons compared to other nation. But our Indians are money minded persons. Always Indians are thinking about how to earn money, how to earn status in the society. But they won't help to develop our country. Indians are always flying to other countries and earn more money because in foreign counties Indian will be having more package than in India. If we really show interest to develop our country then India will be the fully developed country in the world wide.

For smart city my suggestion is that on each road there should be a dustbin side by a road .washrooms should be make on side of each and every road. Each road should be clean and a colony also is clean. It can be a wifi city. By making some clean government school so that the poor people child can also get education etc.

Education is not major problem if the person is talented. But the motivation from teachers and parents is most important to a student during his childhood. If we teach the subject, we get the skilled persons else the persons to whom the life looks like a question mark.

Pasighat, a place that one must visit to have the fun of lifetime, where Mother Nature showers all its bliss and delight upon one in her purest form. A place that will always linger in one's memory and will motivate one to come here again and again.

Ban on polythene should be strictly enforced because Pasighat is natural place. Even consumers carrying should be fined. For keeping residential areas clean, committees should be formed and those residents who indulge in throwing garbage their names should be given to Nagar Nigam and they should be fined

The black pitch roads maybe narrow comparatively but with necessity and requirement the same can be widened along with the provision of proper drainage system. One of the major plus points here is that the locals here are quite aware of the need for approach roads and drainage system and most importantly are not very much inclined on compensations for such developments

With regard to harnessing solar energy, there are two ideas that can be implemented. Firstly, a scheme must be introduced, in order to make Pasighat a solar-power town, where the Government installs solar panels in say, 50 Government buildings and 200 private buildings. This scheme can further be used in other parts of Arunachal Pradesh as well.
