Department of Telecommunications (DoT) through their letter dated 27th February 2019 has informed that Indian Railways has proposed to install an Ultra-high-speed LTE based communication corridor along their network for Train-Ground and Train-Train communication. In this connection Indian Railways has requested DoT to reserve 15 MHz of spectrum in 700 MHz band for the purpose and to begin with 10 MHz to be allocated free of cost as the proposal is devoid of any commercial gain, but only for enhancing security and passenger amenities. Through the said letter, DoT has also requested TRAI to provide recommendations on administrative allotment of spectrum to Indian Railways and the quantum, price, appropriate frequency band (including 450-470 MHz band) and any other related issue.

A Consultation Paper on “Allotment of Spectrum to Indian Railways for Public Safety and Security Services” has been released to discuss the issues involved. Written comments on the issues raised in the Consultation Paper are invited from the stakeholders by 22nd July 2019 and counter-comments by 5th August 2019.

Build the barricades both side of railway track on the station and leave few space to go and come passanger in the train to avoid accident and increase some time of train to stay on platform to avoid mob collision to avoid any incident on platform take strict action on violent people in and out side the train and fit the cctv cameras in every compartment of train specially for security of ladies.

,when the train takes stop and run slowly at station during that time many accidents takes place b/w platform and railway track ,in order to reduce those accidents, railway authority can make announcements before leaving any train .

Good initiative of Modi govt . Allotment of spectrum for Indian railways is good for safety of passengers .we must increase efficiency of trains .

Spectrum is a free resource like air. Spectrum allocation is done to ensure that communicartions do not overlap and crreate confusion. Slots are allotted to various users based on their requirement of bandwidth. It is like dedicated lanes for traffic on a highway. All govts have to stay within the spectrum allotted to them by ITU. There is no expenditure by anyone on allotment or use of spectrum. So spectrum allotment should be free. Keep costs for the users down.

First thanks to honourable TRAI for requesting the feedback through MY GOV otherwise I am a power and energy enthusiast and would have not got to knowthis at all. But I am speaking on the those who cannot write to you in my Gov also. Last time I saw a sparrow near my vicinity when 2G got introduce. Please give importance to our wild life, these towers and radio wave emitters may annoy our wild life, we should not intrude in their habitat. Please avoid in these areas. Thanks

We need to provide not only security in railway sector but efficiency is also very important .last year when train slide down from railpattery whole country was sad.so we need to take some capital measure in increasing efficiency of trains.

सेवा मे श्रीमान महोदय सादर नमन! निवेदन करना चाहूँगा भारतीय रेल सरकार का एक अच्छा आय का श्रोत माना गया है।तथाबहुतसे लोगों की इससे रोजी रोटी भी चल रही है । लेकिन ऐसा देखा जाता है की आए दिन करमचारी हड़तालें करते हैं तथा सार्वजनिक सम्पत्तियों का भी नुकसान पहुँचाते हैं जबकि नुकसान पहुचाने का इनका कोई हक नहीं हैं ।ए हानि आम जनता की तथा सरकार की भी है इसपे अंकुश लगाना होगा तथा अफसर साही तथा भ्रष्टाचार पर अंकुश होना चाहिये । सरकार का बिचार प्राइवेट सेक्टर मे रेलवे को देना अतिउत्तम है इसमें सबका फायदाहै

it is a good suggestion to allot spectrum 700 MHz for the entire use of railway alone considering the safety and possible other services which may effect public. But I would like a wide publicity about the impact of railway and public by allotting this spectrum .if so people can analyze and study about this affair more deeply and put forward more valuable suggestions.
