The “India Handloom” brand would be evolved based on high quality defect free, socially and environmentally compliant product for catering to the needs of the high-end consumers looking for niche handmade products. The scheme would initially be made voluntary. The producers would be encouraged to maintain the quality of the product, which will be specified. All the products under the brand should have the benchmarked quality for the raw material, the processing as well as for packing and labelin

Handloom industry one of the most important sectors..To make it more resourceful .we have to focus on rural economy. People of rural area should participate more and more as more resources of handloom sector found in villages.then they can bring it to urban areas with more innovative ideas. in that case the main role should be played by government to help people and as well people participation is needed.so we need such kind of scheme to make a journey from rural India to urban India

India being a home to different type of handloom art ..but has not contributed much so exposure to this sector can increase many folds its contribution to our GDP...this can be done by
1. organising articrafts melas displaying different styles of handloom patterns...
2. Govt can even come up with a app where person can upload pics of handloom styles and patterns.
3.some sort of display of handloom designs at community halls or special halls should be made at various tourism centers.
