Primarily the reservation policy should be abolished for good. Devise the mechanism to help the marginalized families and youth irrespective of caste and creed. Selection of teachers on pure merit. Train them in such a manner that they should be equipped with broad knowledge base. The teachers when posted for the job should be devoted and made accountable to their duty. There should be mechanism to learn the condition of lagging pupil for corrective measure. Too many illogical sops destroys

the most important things to do to increase the literacy rates in india is to 1) bridge the gap between the teachers and students 2) increase the number of schools and raise awareness about education for every person as most of the people think that instead of wasting the time on studying the child could help the parents earn a living as much as it is true it is no excuse to not make the child study 3) put a check in the quality of teaching done in the rural areas of our country #education

Each and every temple in this country should be converted into a learning institution. The donations which the temples receive can be used as salary for teachers. This would not only help in increasing literacy but also create employment. There as enough infrastructure available as temples. Nobody would have objection as the school hours and prayer hours don't clash. There are temples in almost every second locality. They are mostly idle from 9 am to 5 pm . We can utilize them for a better India

In INDIA we notice many dropouts even from the primary schooling level.This may be because of the traditional methods we follow in teaching.India needs young innovative minds to lead the country,so thinking out of the box nature should be inculcated right from the schooling itself.Introducing E-Teaching may help to reduce the dropouts and also increase literacy in our country.......

You know what? The best way that I've encountered in helping the illiterates towards literacy is telling stories. Make all of them sit down together and tell them stories about this world, tell them moral and ideals. Tell them about how this world is changing. When sufficiently intrigued by these stories. These illiterates should be guided towards simple books supplemented with school. It is curiosity that is fanned with which education is easier to access. Teach someone to read using stories!

Actually everyone cannot afford the money in studying in corporate schools so,the government schools in all villages & towns should be developed with good faculty & infrastructure.The educational system in India should be change in every school & colleges,there should be 40% theoretical & 60% practical in syllabus.

An awareness should be created among those regarding the importance of Education.Then the government should take a initiative to provide well Infrastructure facilities for their education such as well class rooms, experienced teachers etc.,Gradually it creates interest among those for studies and thus literacy rate can be increased.

Reservations in different government jobs are getting to the right persons? General categorized people are richer than SC/ST category? No demarcations required in Job opportunities.It is the challenge the youths are facing.
