The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP. For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

i most humbly suggest that in fractured mandate, when one party gives outside unconditional support, it must be compulsory for atleast 2.5 years or more so that next election is needed [if atall] only after 2.5 years and not early. This is relevant due to series of events in DELHI and now in maharastra.-- thanks

Sir, Every Indian is feeling proud that you are leading to the country towards CLEAN INDIA from the dirt and corruption. It is a big task unless every citizen feel its own that he will not spread any dirt around him. Together with them a dedicated administrative team is also needed to have regular checks and visit. Elected representative/ Govt employee/ citizens should be asked to have morning walk to their area and educate the people for cleaning to have check the work of cleaning staff .

Dear Sir, in govt. sector there is no value of good work. Here only imp is who has higher approach. In our deptt. inspite of court orders junior HODS are posted against principal at remote places without giving any financial benifits while senior persons are working as it is at renowned cities having higher HRA. But when will be the time of promotions these senior persons will be given chance and juniors will be reverted

Any skill development will enhance interest only when there is a assured job. I guess along with skill development, we must also make sure the people are employable; need to develop discipline and commitment in people. There must be supporting legislation to ensure industries hire from the universities / skill development centers setup exclusively for this purpose. To make sure industry gets what it wants, course structure must be decided with industry inputs. Hiring must be based on merit
