The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP. For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

When i want to apply scholarships and pension., gov officials take money for every step to sanction, when i want to travel in gov buses, with PH buspass conductors are telling not to board and come by next bus. Postman also taking 100 Rs for every month pension.

Respected Sir, .....in my view, if we want number one position, DD-I and DD-II channels should in Channel No. 1 & Channel No. 2 in all over India because viewers will not feel disturbed in selecting the channels for a long time and TRP rate will increase and public service broadcaster will get number 1 position.

Our education systems - CBSE or State syllabi are theoretically oriented, and not practical application based. We have to learn and adopt these from foreign IGCSE/ IB syllabi immediately until we develop a sound indigenous system of our own. My friend, who completed electronics engineering knew all theory about fixing a broken TV, but had no idea of doing it in real life. Schools abroad, teach how to fix a TV rather than making kids mug up 3 textbooks of technical theory on TV.

I would like the Education system to enhance the jobs at college level itself so that student get to work there. For that the colleges have to improve there infrastructure and encourage students to work in there college so that the students can know the value of money once they are out of college. As per a college electronic library means having computers in the library that should change all materials should be available online through the college network.

The government should have a excellent safety program in place. The people who will work in mines need to feel very comfortable that they can deliver safely. Provide regular training that will enhance their skill and listen to their input. Empower and engage them to meet the objectives.
