The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP. For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Respected Prime Minister Sir, I belong to seafarer's community and would like to attract your kind attention to the pathetic conditions of Indian seafarers, who were once seen as dignified International workers, acclaimed worldwide for their contribution to world shipping and for earning international currency for Bharat Mata, we are not getting any government support and feel abandoned in Global scenario, where most Nationalities get their Govt. supports, be it suffering from piracy, criminals

v r becoming a mechanized nation.Technology and competition getting into our DNA replacing empathy, sensitivity and attentivenesss. it is being stressed that do not touch the children for education before 5or in some cases before 7.I am of the opinion that child has most grasping power during initial years, Abhimanyu story goes a step further by endorsing pre birth education.I dont comment on it as it is not proven but v can provide our kids early education and make their minds more receptive
