The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP. For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Today i am very sadden to tell you that one of the bus stops we fixed on last Sunday (@ Vijayawada, A.P) with a great effort from our volunteers went into vein, Becoz of a very popular student union by name AVBP has struck 10 posters in a single bus stop which is absolutely not required, they stuck those posters to promote an event they are doing this month 7-9 !! We are extremely shocked to see India's biggest student organization acting very irresponsible towards the cleanliness of our city.

mining sectors really need the practically training oriented and technology knowledge driven program to the work force which is involved in mining in various sectors , our P.M. is going to Australia from this country the mining technology can be taken or some work force can be send to Australia for training and then to train Indian workforce about efficient and safe mining, the disaster management during any emergency at any mine is also very needed which may be taken from Australia.

Focusing on areas showing coherence in form that the most mineral rich regions are one of the most backward regions in every aspect - economic, social, education, basic amenities & so on. Technological improvements with focus efficient extraction with equal importance to human resource. If families are secure ( for remuneration, food, educ., shelter, medicine) the efficiency of the workers will automatically improve. focus on back-end to improve the outcome.
