The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Dear Prime Minister Pl.monitor and rewise activities of Indian metiriology dept. We all experience ed last prediction and forecast of Nelofer cyclone on west cost of Guj. Day by days forecast of this dept.was going total failure. Not a single prediction was proved to be true. It was unnecessary burden on Indian economy viz.fishing loss,NDRF, BSF teams, migration of peoples, food packets, men & muscles power loss. The prediction and forecast by BBC weather news was near accuracy and true. Thanks

Education is empowering and should ideally lead to required skills. Unfortunately over the period of time our education system has not kept pace with the changes and requirement of world. And today we are in a situation where special emphasis has to be paid to Skills. It is now important to integrate this requirement with the participation of industry as they are the end user of skilled people. Industry and institutions need to work together to bridge this gap

Our most government websites are inactive and not built structurally, Still ruining in 10years old technologies, not easy to use. Please define a standard and structure for all government website by building model website with new technologies. For example see Army website(http://joinindianarmy.nic.in/ or http://indianarmy.nic.in/Index.aspx), its still running in ASP. I think first we have upgrade our staff in NIC to use new technologies and design for websites

Dear Sir i know you have an extremely tight schedule so i dont think that you may read my post among millions other before you. Sir i know we have developed nuclear weapons be it icbm or ssbm, but Sir we must not forget our enemy is nuclear capable too. Sir we need a Continuity of Government and essential finctions protocol. Fallout shelters for civilians and vips hardened to tolerate nuclear explosions and radioactive fallout. I hope our lazer defence systems will be functional soon.

Many of the initiatives in digital india are not profit generating for service providers. BSNL and MTNL are not in good finances. Budget allocations should be made for providing about 15 Wi Fi hot spots in each of 4 metros and 10 hot spots in each of 38 cities of 1 million plus population through BSNL and MTNL, using ITI products with CDOT technology as pilot projects. This will provide fillip by creating a culture and promote make in India and usage of hot spots by the people.
