The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Patriotism and ownership guided by correct discriminative intelligence is prime for anyone thinking about contributing to the nation. I hope we have first made ourselves equipped with these which will then be sustained unscathed if cloaked with selfless service. Jai Hind

In the MyGov, I find "Education" is not listed as a category. I appeal to The Honourable PM to provide me with a personal audience of five minutes. Would like to discuss the alarm bells ringing in our CBSE and ICSE systems of Education at the Highest Levels. The bottle neck in a bottle is always at the TOP. Thank you.

Reviving the industrial training institutes will reinvigorate the campaign for skill development in India. Its important for us to make fruitful use of the demographic dividend that is impending upon our nation. Also there has to be a programme for personality development along with skill development. that would lead to the holistic development of every individual. Promoting MSMEs should be supplemented with skilled labour for better benefits. Thank you.

While the education system has a strong focus on development of knowledge and technical skills, there is a lot of room for improvement when it comes to communication skills. After all, for a successful completion of any task, there needs to be specific and measurable outcomes. Without a strong focus on communication, the outcomes cannot be measured effectively, which in turn becomes a barrier in continuous improvement.

-Research and development wing to equip mining sector with best operational technology minimizing cost of excavation.-To function as an institution, to monitor sector growth, status at international level for continuous improvement.-Change bureaucracy mindset, preferring conventional techniques to develop maximum employment over more production and hence more employment during onward cycle of consumption.-Employing qualified skilled manpower to train people to adopt latest techniques.
