The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Dear sir, If we would set up an quality/audit department which should be independent body of govt work what ever done by tender or contractors. And this entity will check every work done by contractor/tender must meet quality and standard. Specially this kind of audit is required in state roads other than national highways and building infrastructures because contractors don't use standard materials and without any scientific reliable process. That is why roads and buildings got destroyed soon.

We should think of reviving our Gurukul Shiksha Pranali, where our children were taught a lot of practical skills like carpentry, iron-monger, masons, artisans, hand-craft, etc. British have ruined our country by destroying this system. Hence we have a lack of certified skilled labour in all forms of work. As a result we have moved backwards. It is time that teaching such skills was made available at least at each Tehsil place so that gradually our youth get competent & self-employed.

We can clean our trains as well by creating dustbin under seat of trains, so that the common disposal, waste paper and paper bags can be immediately throw in that dustbin.

Sir, Country is way behind . seems some group of people not ready to change. Women safety is a big problem. Girls can't walk on roads alone in night. Kindly implement laws and policing so that people can't dare to misbehave with womens. Boys pass comments and misbehave with womens.
