Most of the our mission in other countries are not so effective as they should. They never do such work which boost the image of the nation. Generally, they enjoy foreign life without any responsibility. Now Prime Minister has realized and will post efficient official to various Embassies' who can make' make in India' in positive way. A compulsory charter of work to be given to all the official posted in various Indian Embassies and High Commission abroad with accountability.

Taste of India at abroad makes new meaning when visiting Indian embassy. Total chaos at Indian embassy at Dammam. Consular staff visit once a week from Riyadh and the experience is pathetic. No one to assist in giving all info required for a application. After standing in queue for 3-4 hours, the officer rejects the application saying forms not as per requirement. Suggestion is to arrange a help desk manned by either consular staff or NGO's who guide the procedures to layman.

4) Bansi Dodhia Shah I find that they really need to organize themselves. They take their time literally sipping tea, talking. They need young people & need to speed up that with the work that way they will be able to attend to more people everyday. 5) Mahesh Kesra Vekaria A few individuals spoil entire embassy by not being responsible for delivering services to its citizens and visitors and punctuality by most of the staff

3) Sukhraj Singh Politeness and manners would be a start. Also, the website lists required documents, but the staff (some) at the Embassy have their own ideas. OCI is also difficult to get if grand parent's documents aren't available. There should be another way of verifying Indian origin. The Visa on arrival is a great initiative though, but why is only valid for 30 days, and why can you only use it twice a year?
