First of all a Data Base has to be created in every embassy abroad, like when a Indian Citizen clears immigration and flies to a destination, his complete detail is sent to that particular or nearby embassy, where in an automated message or Mail is sent to his contact giving all details of the embassy with a caption saying WE ARE HERE TO PROTECT YOU.

This is regarding OCI. Can the hassle of having VISA sticker pasted in valid passport be curtailed. When we hold the OCI card, won't it serve the purpose of VISA cerification like PIO card. For PIO we do not have the VISA pasted in the passport but for OCI we have which doesn't seem to be rationalised.

Modiji, when I travelled for work in Denmark I had to apply for a CPR card which is linked to all services bank, rent etc. You wont even get a house for rent without a valid CPR number and no 2 people can register house in CPR unless he is related. just CPR number is enough to travel between the scandanavian countries . Adhar card I thought would serve this purpose . Can we implement some of those in our country , we can control terrorism and also implement lot of policies easily.

The Consulate services of NY have improved considerably. Started long awaited Town meetings by reaching out the community to receive feed back and to keep NRI/Pravasees informed of the latest rules and policies of India. Pravasis look forward to the abolishment of old Passport renunciation penalty.

Registration of Indian Nationals at some of the Pacific nations very confusing. Fiji H.C. accredited for Vanuatu and so is PNG, How? Also, would prefer- 1. Names of Indian citizens registered with respective Embassies/High Commissions.2. Acknowledgement of Registration with respective missions.3. For renewal of PP, missions charge in cash only but that is very difficult for Indians living in adjoining countries.
