We can also introduce Voting facility for NRIs like Swiss do since long. For all this we have to have an honest and devoted man who cares for the reputation of his country instead of money. We can arrange some sponsored cultural activities by calling famous personalities, Sportsmen like Vishwanathan Anand for a Chess Tournament and many alike. There is a big population of Indians who look for all sorts of activities satisfying their national feeling but non is being arranged.Mb.9936126573

Support provided by Embassies and Consulates to NRI's in distress especially in GULF countries is very bad. Officers on duty gives cold response to issues faced by NRI's living in these countries. They don't stand up for NRI's in judicial processes or in the matters of interventions from resident country when required. This gives a very poor image of India and Indians as our embassy itself doesn't help or support us. The embassy should be more responsive by increasing workforce.

I visited VFS office in Singapore today for some attestation work. I was surprised and embarrassed to hear the conversation between VFS officer and an Indian lady who was applying for Indian passport for her 10 days old daughter. Officer told her that there will be delay in passport issuance because PASSPORT BOOKLET AT HIGH COMMISSION OF INDIA IS RUNNING OUT OF STOCK!! Singapore is so well connected with India. How could it be possible that an embassy is running out of passport booklets?

I went to Indian embassy in Washington DC 5 years back to get my passport renewed. I used to live in US at that time. No person ws ready to explain what all documents are required. They just said look online. When i checked online information was not complete. Every time i took documents they said something was missing. It took 4 visits to get my passport renewed. Having info online does not mean you do not provide it offline. Embassies should focus on helping the Indians living abroad.

Dear PM, you have removed attestation process in India. Please implement same in Embassies and Consulates also. I have my recent experience during which I was asked to get every letter and document I submitted be attested by Consular office which at the end proves to be just a mandatory process to make money and delay execution.

I have lived in Kuwait for almost 20 yrs in 3 terms. There are no extracurricular activities arranged by Indian Embassy except in 1978 as Mini Olympic by Indian Embassy on A very big project which gave a chance to every Indian to get involved and get influenced. Many families are facing problems in relation to their children in schools.School principal is harassing children & parents are facing big problems in their education. We can increase our commercial activities by putting experienced men.

In 90% of your speeches you have always mentioned governance and accountability. I strongly feel the embassy culture needs to change. I've never seen any embassy measure OR improve on on issues such as the amount of time taken to resolve an issue (stolen passport) or the time taken by embassy for other items such as passport renewal, visa stamping etc. Please impart training to all employees on a customer centric approach. Please have a suspension/firing policy if there are numerous complaints.

first of all do the things so that one can not cheat with faulty document. vanish the involvement of agent for assuring and doing this type of task. every one must aware of the this service by using mass media and other resources. time to time new rule must be applied for fulfilling the recent condition. charges for the visa and all must be minimize so that even a common man would able to go for their career. tax mechanism must be handled as in india there are 17 taxes.

Work ethics of Indian staff at Indian High Commission in UK need major corrections to stop undue delay when contacted direct for any service . I was shocked when visited few times and found they keep clients waiting as working on papers, moving away from window, talking on telephones or friend or agents handing over papers etc. CCTV recording should be introduce at all places where public servants are dealing with public for review these recording by appointment HOD at MOEA.
