1. we must treat indian citizens with respect. in many cases, there is no seat as well. 2. use the place to promote India. my friends visited and are so full of praise, but will our embassy market it? 3. use the embasy to generate 2 way comerce. most often, this is an afterthought 4. leverage the talent of indian expats. most of them are senior and well connected and contribute. 5. promote indian culture-movies, art, dance, yoga and more can we replicate british council?

By reading few comments i can say that nearly all embassy staff has courtesy issue. Government is failing to motivate them to behave respectfully. They are not concerned about their jobs at embassy or take any government office as it is punched with 'sarkari nokari' tag. We have to get all public servants under some ethical and moral values training.

Some staff at the Indian Embassy in London treat customers as if they were animals!! Why can't they learn the UK courtesy and treat people with respect. They should know this is not India where people are roughly treated at government offices!!

People working at Indian Embassy, Kuwait feels the gods/goddesses themselves. They don’t care, don’t respect. They should be trained to behave good with people with smiley face, pleasant words (not sooooo rood) and most importantly to show curtesy towards victims/people. AND LET THEM UNDERSTAND, THAT INDIAN EMBASSY IS TO REPRESENT INDIAN GOVT @ ABROAD IN PROTECTING THE INTEREST OF INDIANS THERE, INSTEAD OF PRIORITIZING AND OBEYING THE FOREIGN LOCALS HERE.

My experience at Indian Embassy, Thailand, was not great. The employees they don't have little bit courtesy about people, they talk very rude, show no respect. I feel that they should be given training on how to talk to people(Customers) they are serving .The attitude of the embassy employees towards the people who go there to get help is "you are paid to wait". If any question is asked the standard response is "go wait" with a look on his/her face saying "aren't you paid to wait"?
