Indian Embassy should reflect, in terms of ambiance, India's glorious past. It should be traditional, attractive yet modern. One suggestion on Passport renewal after 10 years. The Current passport renewal process is quite cumbersome. Here are few items that I would like to point out: 1) Instructions should be clear and crisp with no conflicting information. 2) Reduce the electronic application form to one page. 3) Remove the need for Notary, especially on Indian passport pages.

Embassies, Representations and Consulates are an extension of our country and represents its citizens. Geneva has been trying to have a permanent base but for the past 7 years they are still negotiation and paying huge sums on consultation fee but still haven't been able to finalise. On a different subject Singapore has more International Civil Servants than India. Something to be noted.

Embassy staff need to be trained to be polite and be helpful. Most are disrespectful and unwilling to help. Website need to be redesigned to meet international standards - process should be made simple.

A) The embassies have enough facilities, but what they lack is coordination within various departments and sections. Visa on arrival is a good thing but ppl still face problems at the customs. B) C) D) - Indian embassies and consulates should have programs to engage with the youth and have internship programs. They should also engage with young Indian's within International Organisations and support them. Everytime we extended our help to the Embassies it was always turned down.

Indian Embassy's decor need to be improved so as to encourage people to visit India and get excited about their travel plans. Coming back to the website of Indian Embassy in US, having 'Working Hours' as a main menu option doesn't sound inviting. The address links(for maps) as available on the following pages are broken. https://www.indianembassy.org/pages.php?id=4 Also when clicking on the Consular Services, it takes to another website, though it should be part of the same website.

MHA foreigners division website is so bad, all rules jumbled everywhere. Half of the FAQs missing. It needs complete overhaul, it should have all the latest rules in one place that all embassies and applicants can refer to.

Rules for OCI card should be clearly mentioned by MHA based on the constitution. Each embassy is making up its own list of exemptions. If parents of applicant is Pakistani or Bangladeshi, they are being rejected even though constitution does not exempt them. (according to ordinance passed recently)
