Honorable PM, Building toilets is a great start, but along with that people need to be trained on toilet etiquette so that the next user gets a clean toilet, otherwise they will become unusable, in the long-run. When I visit India, I often encounter nice bathrooms in new malls but unfortunately they stink as people don't flush them, or they let their children urinate on the floor of the cubicles, so no one wants to use those toilets, which is a shame as they spent money to build them!

Respected Sir, As a first step towards cleaning india let us start first by banning plastic bags and plastic cups that are being used at railway stations. only paper cups and paper bags to be used, those who ignore should be fined heavely so that they do not use it another time. Fine those who make the station dirty, let us first start with the railways.

Sir, Cleaning and treating human waste has always been an.difficult task specially in india where population is more than 120 crore and more than 50 % population does not have access to toilets. But there is solution for this which can also allow to get rid of from manual scavanging. Solution is providing bio toilets based on DRDO's anerobic bacteria. It converts the human waste into clear water and methane gas and this clear water can be very useful for agriculture and gardening purpose. This bio-digester tank(filled with anerobic bacteria) can be placed below toilets. In bio digestor tank, bacteria reacts with human waste and convert the same into clear water. There is no electrical energy consumption and refilling of bacteria is also not required. Most implortantly, it is 100% maintainance free. it means, bio digester tank does not required any cleaning or manual scavanging as it converts 100% human waste into clear water and methane gas. It also treats kitchen waste and cleaning chemicals also. So my suggestion is that wherever government is going to make toilets, make bio toilets based in DRDO's anerobic bacteria. By this no sewer network shall be required and waste shall be treated in biodigester tank itself. Moreover treated water can be reuse and it also does not require maintainance. its bacteria can live without food i.e. human waste for more than six months. So in colleges, schools, govt offices, pilgrim places on high altitude, remote areas, villages and whatever place we can think, bio toilets should be placed. it is environment friendly. its adwantages: 1. no maintainance or manual scavanging required 2. No electrical consumption 3. No sewage network and conventional Sewage treatment plant required 4. Treated water can be reuse for gardening and agriculture porpose as it is rich nuitrient water, so it saves water 5. It is cheaper than conventional septic tank 6. No smell, asthetic 7. establish technology already working in several places 8. only one time bacteria needs to be fill 9. easy to install, can be operational in 12 hours 10. so many indian vendors available in india (made in India product All other details can be searched on google. So please consider my suggestion as it will help to make environment more clean and sustainble.
