Youth can play very important role in disaster mitigation and management if they are guided how to act in such situations.These (NCC, Scouts,disaster mgmt)sorts of subjects should be made compulsory in school/colleges curriculum.Voluntary groups can be formed under the official guidance, be trained on disaster management and first aid on who can act during disaster.So that will public will not be dependent during crises in fact will be helpful to neighbors in odd times.

sir,Youth should be prepared for disaster management from schools there should be subject of disaster management from schools so that they can learn and get skills in this regard.Also Ncc and nss cadets should be prepared for disaster management skills.
