Academic excellence is important but more important is the ability to think creatively ,reflect critically , solve problems by developing problem solving skills and make informed decisions. It is essential to develop among the young children the ability to communicate effectively and be imbued with a sense of empathy and compassion. All of these are not possible unless they are woven into the larger curriculum of the learning ecosystem within the school .

This can only be done by inviting more and more funding from Industrial Powerhouses for research & development of indigenous technologies in various Research Organisations and Universities. Once the Research Quality of an University will improve, then only it will be able to finance higher educations of more and more applicants & students. For this, the faculties at various universities should encourage students to improve their research quotient. Because, these students are the resources.

There is a lot of corruption in admission to private colleges. Therefore admission to private colleges (including so called management quota) must be strictly regulated. Private colleges should not be allowed to have their own entrance test. Admissions must be based on marks or on rank as per entrance test conducted by independent bodies. Similarly tuition fee and all other fees should be regulated by a regulatory body.
