Of late, the loan for higher education is granted against a collateral security. The coverage asked is almost or more than hundred percent. Relaxation to be made in terms of 1. Collateral Security, 2. Reduction in interest rate, 3. Waiving of interest penalty in case of minor default, 4. Relaxation in NPA norms and provision, 4. Relaxation norms based on Merits. 5. The Institute should directly be in touch with the FIs, 6. While selecting in 'campus', it must be informed to the concerned Bank

cont... I have a friend who's mother is a doctor, father is a govt. employee sister studied from IIT still he has got reservation. 90% people in my college who have got reservation are either richer than me or equivalent. And the college in which I study is Delhi Technological University ( Formerly DCE ) which is among top ten colleges in India. I performed my best to get a rank in IIT but education system denied me of my rights. I demand justice for all people like me who have suffered.

Continued.... If one generation has got the benefit of reservation, then that ensures that further generations don't need that or else what's the benefit of reservation. Also why there is reservation in jobs also if they got in a good educational institution then they should get the job based on merit as they have all the resources now. My another point is that why every child in one family gets reservation. cont....

I think reservation based on caste should be removed. It's been 68 years since our Independence and the percentage of reservation has since been increased only mainly because of vote bank. And I know any Govt. which will take action against it won't be able win next time easily. People are exploiting this right, I know so many people who's parents are very rich or govt. employees and they still get reservation, also why all the generation in one family gets reservation.

The education institutions should take the liability for repayment of education loans taken by students to study in that institution instead of parents of student if the student is not able to get job after completion of study from these institution. This will force the institution to improve the quality of education on these institutions which are now functioning just for profit making instead of providing quality education to students and making them employable.

the fees must be hiked significantly for students in higher education in government / state universities. this would lead to funds for better libraries, laboratories, research and technology, the staff of every department must be full house, deserving, and highly paid to attract the best. once children are given this logic, they will surely understand, and not resort to silly strikes against fee hike. A deserving student ( based on ability and financial constraints ) not caste, creed, religion.
