I just returned from the USA in Jun14. Most of the Indians in the US are highly educated, hold graduate, PG and Doctorates. They are all in good positions as Engineers, Doctors, Research Fellows, businessmen. Some are also in public service such as Public Prosecutors. They all can act ambassadors of India effectively in their own field. They should create forums in each field such as Engineering, Medical, dental etc., and make prominent Americans in that field as members.

Brand India as reflected in some of the major Indian English newspapers portrays India (and Indians) as a country obsessed in sensationalism and provocative highly sexualised news. The front page has about 30% content if not more devoted to news and images related to stars in minimal clothing, their affairs, semi nudity and attaining pleasure through physical intimacy. Feel saddened and alarmed as an overseas Indian when I reflect on the waste and damage to young minds influenced by such media.

Adulteration in milk is threatening whole India. The beasts (manufacturers) do not think about killing the innocents. What is the difference between these immoral manufacturers and terrorists. In this issue government is mute spectator. I am concerned about the border policy that Modi Government is going to adapt. Until now we have not seen any previous governments taking a stand in this regard. What is the policy that new government is planning to adapt. We need to clear the stance with China , Pakistan and Bangladesh where have serious disputes on the border regions. Please provide a transparent statement on the plans in this matter. Thanks for providing us this forum to share our views and initiate the discussions.

Dear Modi, iam sure most of the NRIs do want to return to India provided its pollution free, traffic rules strictly followed, food without pesticides, health and safety and proper accommodation. I would request you to create schemes for NRIs which they cannot refuse to come back.we need decent jobs in the government sectors so that the system can be changed.

Dear sir, This is known to all that caste system in India is biggest obstacle in its development...I have several examples that people are fighting with each other in name of the caste and no body are taking care of it. Caste system in India may be eradicate by allowing young people to get marry irrespective of caste. Government should promote it then only this system will go down and our country will take a big leap. JAI HING......

Indian diaspora abroad is a formidable force in branding India. So far has successfully transformed India’s image from snake charmers into a new aged highly skilled and industrious community. Now this has to take a quantum stride. What is needed for this? I believe substantial improvement in the way people in India live – mindset to serve without corruption, respect to public property, stick law & order & it’s implementation, self-belief…....... To do this faster, diaspora can play a major role if reverse brain drain is encouraged through a policy change!

dear brothers and sisters of our india: delaey in justice is solely injustice.society needs to be worked on social high values based on moral and religious educations,which only make crime and dispute minimise,otherwise system of justice will be about to collapse ,and many many people will die waiting for justice...farid ahmad
