learning is fun if done with technology.if done with interest.so all students must be motivated to achieve better. self driven learning must be emphasised instead of paper and pen rote learning

the engineering student have not practical knowledge. they don't know engineering use in solving the problems in field. engineering college should prepared case study of failures. problem solving films and show these film daily in class study.so that crate new ideas and take examination on that topics.

For Industrial visit for students, company can adopt the open day policy similar to education institutions by which any common man can explore the various machines and working in an industry on a particular single day.

For an ordinary student a single day visit of IIT's will be a dream come true. The gov should organize 2-4 days workshop in various IIT's at nominal charges where student could know the standards of Education and it is not difficult for the Institutions to organize such events which have all education related facilities. It will be very helpful for the students guidance and inspirations. The regular industrial visit is must for technical students and they can adopt the open day policy for public

..continuing from my previous post.." Can we ensure that our kids get exposed to a curriculum that facilitates 'experiential learning' along side the Textbook. For example: When the kid first encounters say the equation for the time period of a simple pendulum ...it will be a new milestone (believe me) IF we give him/her enough time, space and 'infrastructure' to play with the pendulum and actually 'verify' the equation in all its glory! I tried this ..works wonders! Have many more to share..

Even before we talk about technology enabled learning ..I have a simpler (and humbler) suggestion to make. At the risk of oversimplifying ..let me dare state the problem in the following way: Can we work towards marrying as many technology enabled experiments (or Kits) alongside the (relevant) material being taught in our classrooms (this is especially with reference to the Science and Math subjects to start with....others may follow) ? I shall elaborate in a follow up post..

International Industry Qualifications should be given weightage in jobs and promotions rather than giving full credit to exams depending on cramming and writing answers. Especially in Technical Education, more credits should be given to industrial qualifications rather than only academic ones & the same should be incorporated in curriculum also. Such teachers should be given special Jobs and Promotions & Opportunities.

Every educational institution and every student must have access to technology and tools so that they can supplement learning in school/college with learning online. This is possible provided the government selects the right kinds of technology to invest in, and does this at scale to leverage savings in cost. Provision of these must be left to professional software companies to ensure 24x7 availability. Cloud–based technologies can help unleash innovation in this space.

Most Technology Enabled Learning needs (a) Device[Computer/Mobile] (b) Power (c) Connectivity - Can the government work with telecom companies to make the cost of downloading content from reputed sources like NPTEL/Coursera/Khan Academy/edX free of cost? This will help both teachers and students.
