JOB ORIENTED EDUCATION PART-4 My personal view is that it is nothing less than sheer wastage of tax payers money by the Govt. including State Governments, which is solely responsible for formulating Education Policies in our country in such a way for educating the people and opening up vistas leading to the actual application of knowledge obtained in a particular field of education in the sphere of employment, too.

JOB ORIENTED EDUCATION PART-3 Perhaps due to a callous and casual short term vision coupled with overemphasizing on a few particular sector, huge mismatches on academic educational background with that of actual nature of job performed by the newer generation has become phenomenal in our country. For example, an engineering graduate is seen to be a banker, a hapless medical graduate opting the job of a sub inspector, and so on.

JOB ORIENTED EDUCATION PART-2 It should be aimed at eradicating unemployment problem from the country. I am advocating for a plus twenty years vision for the reason that normally a child joining now onwards in Standard-I is expected to be turned to be a job seeker after twenty years from now.

JOB ORIENTED EDUCATION PART-I National Education Policy need to be formulated keeping in view a long term vision and sector-wise likely demands in the employment market that to be emerged after 20 years domestically and globally. Such a policy can be named as “Long Term Job Oriented National Education Policy” and should be research based drawing experts from the field of different branches of education, both from conventional and niche areas; job market researchers and government planners.

1. Stop the opening of any new university and better take the initiative to improve the current established universities. 2. R&D process should be given the top priority in universities with better incentives to research groups. 3. In any academic discipline a full year should be given to students for internship in industry with industry based assessment making a student more market ready. 4. Industries should come up with joint ventures with universities for product development.

There is no job opportunity for engineering student due to recession in market. Near about 5 lac engineer get degree per year. But there is no opportunity for them. First of all colleges do not provide better technical knowledge and skills. More than 800 colleges placed in UP only.Whats mean of more engineering college.Private company pay 5000 to 7000 INR for fresher graduate engineer. Now you must have changed Mr.PM of India.Neither graduate engineer will go to crime due to current situation.

Industry should ready to come to give training about their operations and research among school hsc and college students. School teachers should identify their students interests and get output from students by projects or proposals and they anaylze and try to arrange near by small and medium industrial visit. industry should volunteerly come to encourage students innovation by taking part in industrial social responsibilities.

I think the root cause for the unemployment amongst graduates in India is the syllabus and the curriculum they have to follow at their colleges. I think the HRD minister should spend some time with the educational expert from all over the world as well as with few top corporate leaders,as how to bridge this gap between the industry demand and the quality of education given to the students.

The need is to link industries with Students/colleges. The common tradition is that a student gets placement in the final year of their studies and then the process of training is done. Colleges should invite industries to nourish the young minds in very first stage. Students should be given chance to choose the desired industry and learn the required things along with regular studies. Govt. can help in iidentifying best choices. Stipend should also be given to best ones in the process.
